Education
“Good art is not what it looks like, but what it does to us.” - Roy Adzak
For more than 15 years Macon Arts and our funding partners have invested over $450,000 in funding, training, educational opportunities and arts events for Central Georgians. Programs including the Bibb County Institute for the Arts, SmArts guides, First Saturday Workshops for Kids, Fired Works Workshops for all ages, and educational programs by artists and member organizations, are part of Macon Arts’ mission to use the arts as a tool for learning and enrichment of our community.
For more information about any of our educational programs, contact Macon Arts Education Director, Dot Brown, at (478) 743-6940 or dot@maconarts.org.
