Artist statement…

Rheetah’s work can currently be seen in Macon, Milledgeville, Wrightsville, Atlanta and in private collections throughout the U.S., Canada and Belgium. Her other media includes watercolor, sculpture, iron work, batik, oil painting, beadwork, leatherwork and jewelry making. Rheetah’s pottery is hand built or wheel thrown, then sculpted or relief carved.

As an artist, Rheeta’s goal is to create beauty. In a world where we are bombarded with ugly images in news casts and “entertainment,” her hope is for her work to give your eyes and psyche escape and peace.

The Ginko is a recurring theme in her pottery. Simply stated, the Ginko tree is considered by many to be a “living fossil.” Ginko Biloba is thought by many to improve memory.

To bring peace and harmony with nature into your home is her dearest wish.
