Artist Statement…

Geoff currently resides in Farmington, Georgia as a potter. He received his BA in three dimensional design from Bath Academy of Art in Wiltshire, England and his Master of Fine Arts in ceramics from the University of Georgia in Athens. Geoff also participated in a Foundation course in Art in Bideford, Devon, England.

Recent exhibitions include 2005’s “Perspectives Georgia Potters and Collectors” at the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation in Watkinsville,Ga.; “National Teapot Show IV” at Cedar Creek Gallery in Creedmoor, North Carolina; as well as “Wood Fired Pottery” at Cedar Creek Gallery.

Geoff has also exhibited in New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Wes Virginia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan, Missouri, Florida, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Arizona. Throughout 1974-1981 Geoff also participated in annual exhibitions at Cornwall Crafts Association in England.
