Artist statement

Known for his highly collected ceramic pottery Keen is also an incredibly talented innovator with many other materials. Glass marbles, mosaics, outdoor sculpture and environments, and mixed media creations...Keen’s work in all these areas yields pieces that at first delight the viewer as entertaining eye candy but upon further inspection have an almost religious depth of meaning. Keen is one of the very best artists this region has to offer.
